Esenstein Montage

The topic is montages which is a form of media that involves cutting shots in such a way that they aren't in a sequence but they appear to make sense with each scene. I'm trying to say that the narrative is brought together through the use of different images.
There are a total of five different types montages listed in this article. Metric montage is a video that is sped up or cut to make it look sped up. Tonal montage tends to involve sound or music, to capture the beat of song basically. Rhythmic montage does not have a consistent narrative but it does follow the beat of the transition. Overtonal montage separates itself from tonal by being physiological rather than colorful. An intellectual montage speaks to a person on an intellectual level rather than an emotional level like the last four.
