Kino-Eye

After reading this article about The Kino Eye view, it made me realize just how much it has evolved from the time it was first created. Dziga Vertov started this in the early 1920's i believe. We are in 2017 today, and the use of the camera has changed drastically. Including the ways and methods we use to get quality camera shots. Like he stated in the article, humans can't improve the views of their eyes, but we can continue to constantly improve the ways  a camera might view things.

As I was reading the article, it made me think of a perfect example of modern day Kino Eye shots. For example, there is a movie called Hardcore Henry. The film is shot entirely in Kino view. It lets the viewers see in third person, sort of like a video game but real life. There is multiple fight scenes in this film, but my favorite example of this shot is the apartment fight and chase scene. After taking a look at this film, and many others like it makes me really appropriate the use of the Kino.
